Partner
Dave Fisher
Dave Fisher has worked in the commercial real estate and lending industry for over 20 years. He is currently the SVP of Development at the The Latigo Group, a privately-owned Los Angeles based residential, mixed-use real estate development and investment company focused on high quality ground up development. Prior to joining The Latigo Group, he consulted, advised and obtained capital and provided owner’s rep construction services for private commercial real estate firms and individual residential investors. Additionally, he spent 6 years as the Senior Vice President of Business Development and Asset Management for a private equity firm specializing in development and purchasing
stabilized multi-family projects. While with this firm he played an instrumental role in securing and financing approximately $500M worth of multi-family and commercial projects. Prior to that, he spent 8 years at US Bank as both a Vice President and Senior Vice President of Commercial Finance where he originated and managed over $1b in loan commitments. David has extensive experience with all aspects of real estate development, construction, project management and financing. David graduated from The Kogod School of Business at American University with a Master’s in Business Administration in Finance.

Scott Whittaker
Scott Whittaker has worked in the real estate industry for over 20 years. He is the Co-Founder of The Latigo Group, a privately-owned Los Angeles based residential, mixed-use real estate development and investment company focused on high quality ground up development. Mr. Whittaker began in hotel development, then worked for 10 years as Senior VP and COO of a private equity real estate firm specializing in multi-family development. Mr. Whittaker has been involved in all aspects of real estate development including: underwriting and deal selection, raising capital from private investors and institutions, construction and permanent financing, project management, and design. Mr. Whittaker has extensive experience in all aspects of property management and value add renovations. Mr. Whittaker has extensive experience in large multi-family transactions overseeing transactions from acquisition to disposition including complex tax structures such as 1031 exchanges.

Dan Root
Dan Root has worked in the commercial and multifamily construction industry for over 30 years. After initial positions in project management and operations, He served as Vice President of construction for a NY-based Developer and General Contractor for 15 years before moving to Florida. Mr. Root was positioned as Regional Senior Vice President for a Florida ENR-ranked General Contractor, running its West Coast multifamily portfolio for 12 years, completing over 4,000 units in his tenure there.
Mr. Root is a licensed Florida State Certified General Contractor, with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration.
